As promised, here is more of my favorite paper packet. This is a 9x9 accordion display I made to spotlight the product.
The first page shows all the patterned papers and their backsides, um that came out wrong. Anyway, the new papers this season have similar monochromatic patterns on the other side instead of a solid color. Fun!
Second, I have added a 3x3 card, an altered mini composition notebook, and an 8x3.5 card. Both cards are from Close to my Heart's new card confidence program, Originals. The larger card features one of the cutest new stamp sets, called "Coffee Stain". The large, circle-like stamp looks like you set your wet coffee mug on it. How stinkin' cute is that?! And the 3x3 card was my first attempt at stitching on a card. I like the technique so much that I have done several more and have no plans to stop anytime soon.
Next is a 2-page layout that shows how much my baby girl has grown (sniff, sniff!).
Finally, on the back cover I have adhered one of the pages in the paper packet. Yep, it looks like a collection of journaling cards, but it is actually a single sheet of paper -- so versatile and fun!

New Season
Labor Day means putting away my white shoes, linen clothes, and sandals. Call me old fashioned, but that's what I do. I think it is because I love tradition and autumn. And the beginning of September means a new Close to my Heart Idea Book!
I have been busy making all sorts of projects using products from the new catalog. And, being a stickler for the rules, I have waited until after September 1 to reveal them.
First I present you with a laced accordion album I made for a friend's wedding.
I left the picture space blank so she can add photos of the two of them. The paper I used is from CTMH's My Reflections Perfect Day Level 2 paper packet. I also used some My Stickease from levels 1 and 2 as well as coordinating cardstock. This paper packet features 3 of our new colors, Tulip, Sorbet and Juniper. We have another color called Creme Brulee.
Second is a Star Book I made in a Big Picture Scrapbooking class. I have seen star books on other blogs and elsewhere online and have wanted to make one for quite some time now. This class was a blast! In addition to paper crafting, I learned some bookbinding techniques.
That's it for now, but trust me. I have much more!
