I guess I went outside with my hair wet...

I have been off work for the past few days. Wednesday I just felt icky, then yesterday I knew something was really wrong. DH took off work for the day to take care of me (another example of how great he is to me), and he took me to Urgent Care.

The P.A. who examined me was awesome. She noticed I was reading Simple Scrapbooks magazine, so we talked about scrapbooking for a while. She just moved here from Oklahoma and needs a consultant. Woo hoo! Luckily I was prepared and had an extra CTMH Idea Book with me.

Anyway, she sent me on for a chest xray. We were worried my lung had collapsed again (that happened last August and resulted in a 3-day hospital stay). Once the results were back, she walked in with a paper copy of this:

Photobucket

My left lung (on the right side of the page) looks great, and that was the one that collapsed before. She showed me the gray, splotchy areas on the left side of the picture, which is actually my right lung, and proclaimed "PNEUMONIA"! She then wrote a prescription for an antibiotic and told me to stay home from work at least the rest of this week. Yay! More time to admire my Craft Creation Station, I thought to myself. Then she gave me the copy of the x-ray to keep and said, "People like us would want to scrapbook something like this!" Indeed...

Hopefully you will start feeling better after a couple of days of antibiotics. Kudos to your husband on the great job with the shelves.
Take care

Oh, no! We were wondering where you were this afternoon! Feel better! (and just remember - sick time means crafty time...the ball of yarn doesn't care if your skin is blotchy and your nose runny!!)
